This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling and refunds work for services booked with Kapitales Research – Vedic Astrology and Numerology (“Kapitales Research”, “we”, “us” or “our”). It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

1. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer law.

• India: you have rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
• Australia: our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. They must be provided with due care and skill, be fit for any purpose you told us about, and be delivered within a reasonable time. If we fail to meet a guarantee, you are entitled to have the problem fixed or, for a major failure, to cancel and receive a refund.
• Elsewhere: you keep any mandatory rights given to you by the consumer laws of your country.

2. Returns

All our services are delivered online, and we do not sell physical products, including gemstones. There is therefore nothing to physically return. This policy covers cancellations and refunds for our services.

3. Consultations and sessions

• More than 24 hours’ notice: you can reschedule free of charge, or cancel for a full refund.
• Less than 24 hours’ notice, or a missed session: the session fee is generally not refundable, but we will always try to offer you another time.
• If we cancel or cannot hold the session, including because of a technical problem on our side, you can choose a new time or a full refund.

4. Written reports and forecasts

• Before we start preparing your report: you can cancel for a full refund.
• After preparation has begun: because each report is prepared personally from your details, we cannot offer a refund for a change of mind. If you cancel before delivery, we may offer a partial refund for the work not yet done.
• Errors on our part or late delivery: if your report contains an error on our part, or is not delivered within the timeframe we confirmed, tell us and we will correct it, redo it or refund you.

5. Multi-session packages and retainers

For packages delivered over several weeks or months (such as Premium Individual, Premium Couple, Premium Family and the Elite Annual Retainer), you may cancel at any time by contacting us. We will refund the value of the sessions and services not yet delivered, after deducting the value of what has already been provided (such as completed sessions, reports and muhurta guidance) at our standard individual rates.

6. Add-ons

• Muhurta (auspicious date selection) and baby or business naming: full refund if cancelled before we begin the work. Not refundable for a change of mind once the dates or names have been delivered.
• Gemstone and Remedy Report: treated as a written report under section 4.
• Annual renewal discount: applies only to the renewed period and has no cash value.

7. Incorrect birth details

If you realise you gave us an incorrect date, time or place of birth, please tell us as soon as possible. If the work has not been completed, we will update it free of charge. After delivery, preparing the reading again may involve a fee.

8. Outcomes

Astrology and numerology describe tendencies and timing according to traditional methods, and we do not guarantee any particular outcome. A refund is not available simply because a hoped-for event did not happen. This does not affect your statutory rights described in section 1.

9. How to request a cancellation or refund

• Email info@kapitalesresearch.com or message us on WhatsApp at +91 87997 24986 with your name, the service you booked and the reason for your request.
• We acknowledge requests within 48 hours and aim to reach a decision within 7 business days.
• Approved refunds are made to your original payment method, usually within 7 to 10 business days of approval. Your bank may take longer to show the credit.
• Refunds are made in INR for the amount you paid us. Currency conversion differences, or fees charged by your bank or payment provider, are outside our control.

If you are not satisfied with how your request was handled, clients in India may approach the consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and clients in Australia may contact the consumer protection agency in their state or territory.
